DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARUSHA, TANZANIA (ONE NIGHT)
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by a Wito Africa private vehicle and driver who will transfer you to your beautiful accommodation in Arusha for a pre-safari briefing and overnight.
You will be invited to a special welcome dinner where you'll have a chance to get to know each other better as you enjoy your first night in Africa.
After dinner, your butler will show you to your rooms, where you will spend the first exciting night in Tanzania.
DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK (ONE NIGHT)
After a leisurely breakfast, your Wito Africa private guide will greet you at the lodge and transfer you in the direction of the Great Rift Valley to the Tarangire National Park for a game drive and exploration. Tarangire is known for its massive elephant herds, a true sense of wilderness and a backdrop of baobabs.
During your game drives, you will marvel at your first sightings of what is probably one of Africa’s largest populations of elephants, along with Cape buffalos, impalas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest who— in addition to some big cats and an abundance of mammal species—call the park their home.
In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation for sundowners, dinner and overnight (feel free to squeeze in a guided nature walk if you decide to head back to your intimate tented lodge by 3:45 pm).
After the guided bush walk, check in to your camp, get settled and enjoy some sundowners before having your delicious dinner on the patio.
DAY 3: NGORO NGORO REGION (1/2 NIGHTS)
After a leisurely breakfast, your Wito Africa private guide will greet you at the camp and take you for an exhilarating private guided walking safari with an armed ranger. This exclusive experience will open your senses and allow you to connect with the African wilderness uniquely. The gentle pace on a walking safari gives you time and breathing room to take in every sight, sound and emotion, and you really can get up close and personal with your surroundings.
A park ranger leads you on an animal tracking walk across the plains, pointing out clues and bringing you up close to a variety of wildlife, including elephant family, giraffe towers, zebra and even a buffalo herd. Your senses will tingle, your heart will race, and your vivid encounter with Africa’s large and small wildlife will forever be etched in your memory.
During your guided bush walk, you will get a chance to discover the day-to-day conservation efforts that the parks have set in place. You will patrol the park areas that share a border with the surrounding villages and learn more about the human and wildlife conflicts.
After the walk, your Wito Africa private field guide and the vehicle will transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and exploration.
Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, breathtaking scenery and the soda-ash lake in the center. Lunch will be a classic safari picnic within the park while enjoying a glimpse of the great wilds of Northern Tanzania.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your beautiful lodge that borders Ngorongoro Crater for relaxation and overnight.
DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (1/3 NIGHTS)
After a leisurely breakfast, your Wito Africa private guide will greet you at the accommodation and will take you on an exciting road transfer to the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and through the walls of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Oldupai Gorge. Leaving the highlands behind, you will enter the heart of wild Africa!
Known for its endless rolling plains, the Serengeti National Park is a haven filled with wildlife diversity and an expansive landscape stretches into the distance as far as the eye could see. Appreciate the vastness of this true wilderness with a gentle game drive as you make your way to your intimate safari camp for overnight. Immerse yourself in your unique surroundings followed by storytelling at the campfire under the starry African skies and all capped off by a delicious dinner.
You will enjoy the next three days and nights of unlimited game drives in this great secluded area of the park, viewing African wildlife by day and enjoying the calls of the animals from the comforts of your beautiful camp at night.

DAY 8: CRATER, KILIMANJARO & BEYOND (DAY ROOM CAN BE ARRANGED)

Ngorongoro is a collapsed volcano — an incredible natural amphitheatre, 25 km across and teeming with more than 30,000 protected animals, including all members of The Big Five.
